A New Priority Based Call Scheduling Technique in Mobile Networks

Parag Kumar Guha Thakurta

Abstract—A technique for priority driven call scheduling for mobile networks is proposed in this paper. Some priority factors related to call acceptance and call rejection have been identified. A selection criterion for finding the best possible path among the different alternatives obtained through the proposed method has been discussed. Experimental results show the advantages of the proposed technique over existing ones.

Index Terms—Priority factors, call scheduling, call acceptance ratio (CAR), routing.
